New Zealand-day 7

December 27th 2010

Today was a long day of traveling. Everyone was pretty hung over from the night before. That dinner cruise was a super fun night. We drove from Taupo to Wellington-it took 6 hours by tour bus. Even though it wasn't THAT long, it felt like forever. The sights were beautiful though, that made up for the long journey. We passed many areas where Lord of the Rings was filmed. I hadn't seen the movie in such a long time so nothing looked familiar but it was still amazing to look at! When we got to Wellington we first stopped at a hill top to look out over the whole city. It was beautiful and EXTREMELY windy! I felt like I was going to blow over. Not the best day to wear a dress :)

We had a couple hours to rest before dinner so we were finally able to skype our families and upload pictures to facebook. This way our friends and family could know how our trip was going. I also took a nap because I was so very tired! Then we went out to dinner with everyone. The place we went has this sign...

"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways thoroughly worn out wine in one had, whisky in the other screaming 'Wohoo! What a ride!" It was the perfect saying for the perfect trip
The flaming shot! It was so yummy. How can you not love a night that starts like this? The night was wonderful. After dinner the bartenders played a bunch of games with us. The first game we played was where the guys stood on the table and the girls were give a wrapped piece of gum. We had to put the gum up one pant leg and down the other side, unwrap the gum and blow a bubble.

This is a picture of we totally kicking ass and winning it for Bryan and I. We won a shot!
The next competition was musical chairs sex positions game. When the music stopped we all had to get in a new sex position. Bryan and I won again and had another shot...this makes 3 for the night so far... This is one of the mild pictures :)

Three locals challenged us to a dance competition. It was Bryan, Cris and Sam. We beat everyone of their people and took home the grand prize...yes, another shot!
